Is your lawn suffering from the heat? Maybe you have excessive grub damage? Was your lawn dug up by either your pets or by a machine from doing another project at your house? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please contact us for a free quote for a new lawn. We offer a few options for installs.
***
Sod: Sod is what you see in the picture above, it is the most popular option with our customers because it gives you an instant lawn! Sod also can help with most erosion issues you may have. We use Black Beauty sod only and one of the main reasons is because it is more drought tolerant then most other sod companies. When we say it is "drought tolerant", this does not mean that you can stop caring for the lawn and it will live. Drought tolerant simply means that to a certain temperature, the lawn will still be able to produce the nutrients it needs. Your lawn will still need water no matter how drought tolerant it is. We recommend installing an irrigation system when we install the lawn (or update your existing system) so you know everything will be watered properly.

Loam & Seed: Loam and seed is the next option for installing a new lawn. This option is a bit more time consuming because you have to wait for the lawn to grow. A loam and seed lawn requires more attention then a sod lawn also. You can expect a germination period of about 7-14 days (germination - the development of a plant from a seed). You will need irrigation just like you would with a new sod lawn, we also recommend a fertilizer plan.

Hydroseed: Hydroseed is the process of combining a mixture called "slurry" which breaks down to a healthy mixture of seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil and water. You may have driven by yards in the spring and fall that look blue, this is hydroseed! The germination time is about the same as a loam and seed lawn. A huge benefit to doing hydroseed is that the soil will hold moisture longer then regular soil. Also, a hydroseeded lawn typically has fewer weeds. Just like with any lawn, we do recommend that you have irrigation and a fertilizer plan.
